Date: July 20th, 2005 Location: Dinner at Abuelos Mexican Food Embassy & Movie at The Warren Theatre Time: 6:00PM CST Description: Daniel De Longe & Niki Goubeaux's real first date. Funny details: Niki was an hour or so late, the waitress at the restruant was a girl that Steven & Daniel had hit on before, and movie theatre credit card machines were down...Daniel doesn't normally carry any cash...so we had to go to the other theatre on the opposite side of town. |

Date: March 16th, 2006 Location: Pablano's Mexican Grill - West Wichita Time: 2:00PM CST Description: Daniel asks David to go to lunch...this time Daniel asks David if he can marry his daughter. Timing it right, Daniel asks when David is taking a drink. Almost choaking him, David excuses himself, refills his drink, while beginning to contemplate how and what he is going to say to Daniel. Of course, after much discussion, the answer was yes. |

Date: May 13th, 2006 Location: Garozzo's Ristorante - Wichita Time: 6:30PM CST Description: Daniel's Graduation ceremony, and dinner at Garozzos. Unknown to Niki, Daniel has arranged for the waiter to bring out the covered silver plate of deserts with something special inside. Upon removal of the lid, the gleaming gold and diamonds is a heart shaped music box... whatever could be inside? Daniel suggests Niki try that one...opens the heart to reveal the custom designed ring (by Daniel and a jeweler's master craftsmanship). Daniel gives a speech to Niki and the crowd, bends down onto one knee and proposes. Lost in the moment, and showing tears, Niki happily accepts. |
